I love you tutu much

Me and Caren, my darling godmommy had a little mini photo shoot with both of our tutus!

It was a rainy day but I think our tutus made it all the brighter.

It was SOO much fun twirling and jumping and taking photos!

a fantastic day had by father and daughter

Today my dad woke me up before it was even light out! (around 5:45 eek!)

I surprisingly happy with getting up this early and going out into the freezing morning with my dad.

We were out the door by 6:30 and on the road listening to 'old time radio show mysteries' (to be more specific a show entitled 'lights out' about zombies :D )

When we got to town we went to a church sale and almost nothing was out so we kinda rummaged around and then found Bernice! (last photo) She's a cute little Basset Hound (and yes I did name her the most darling name ever *wink*)

We also found at the same sale some AMAZING Chartreuse green 'coffee, sugar and tea canisters! eep I love them!!!

Then we went to a few other sales and found the table I have had my eye on from IKEA for only 3 dollars :) (well 5 but what can I say? Were good at bargaining! haha)

All in all a fantastic day was had by father and his daughter.

I use my table as a make up table ( P.S. I don't wear all that makeup on the table only some lol)

Today I was scrolling blogs and when I came to A Beautiful Mess and saw Elsie's new hair I was in awe.

I really think I want to dye my hair this color.

Do you think It would be right on me?

Or maybe another color in mind?

eye am happy today

'Eye' am very happy today

On the list of why I'm happy

1. On monday I went to so you think you can dance canada with my brother and got to sit with some pretty famous people :)

2. My daddy fixed my camera! I really thought it had died but says super mario it has 2 extra lives ;)

3. My 'new' headband arrived in the mail yesterday! (The day after I got this headband I wore it out on a windy day and it blew away *tears* )

4. I now have been to my brothers new apartment and am now helping him plan out everything (FUN!!)

5. I now know what I'm going to be for halloween... Its a surprise for now though.

6. my daddy decided he wanted to help me do my hair today so he blew it dry for me (Cute!! I love my dad <3>

oh dear no...

Something happened the other day.

I went to turn on my camera (with brand new batteries) and it made half the cute noise it makes when it turns on, the screen went black, the camera turned off and the lens stayed out.

I tried to fix it and nothing so far has worked :(

I now feel Desiree's pain of a cameras death.

My dad has not seen it or tried to macgyver it yet and I still have a little hope for its sweet life coming back but it does not look good :(

So.. I in the meantime have been trying to really get to know my Nikon D80 but its very complex and I'm not to familiar with it yet but I will soon!

In other news I'm going to So You Think You Can Dance Canada again tomorrow and will try to take a few photos but bringing my Nikon to Toronto is not to smart in my mind when I have to leave it at a coat check.

BUT I will try my best (you never know who your going to meet)

Well I'm off to sketch ideas and thoughts!

Today was a fantastic day!

First I went to see Mr. Orthodontist.... and after two years of no bubble gum I GOT MY BRACES OFF! eep! (I'm super happy as you can tell, teehee)

THEN after going out to get ice cream bubble gum and everything sticky we went home to find my dad sitting on the porch with a big smile. He then told me that there was a package on the kitchen table with my name on it :)

I skipped inside and opened my package from 'love elycia' that I had ordered a few days before.

I think my parents enjoyed me skipping around the house taking photos of my new headband and teeth ;)

Elycia.. you made my day so much brighter today :)

batter cupcakes and icing oh my!

Yesterday me and my godmommy Caren made cupcakes!

Holy cupcake! We ate SO much batter and SO many un-iced cupcakes and SO many iced cupcakes!

Eeep!

Just thinking about the little prettys is making me tempted to eat another... but I had one for breakfast this morning and I don't want to turn into the cupcake hulk now do I?

Might I add that a vintage glass of apple juice is the perfect side to a fresh baked cupcake? :)
