A walk to remember and cherish

The sweet wind in your hair.. the feeling of breathing in fresh cold crisp air... Walking and smiling at people walking by.. I love walks in the city.

Me and Caren (Miss Godmommy) took her pup Grace for a walk in the park and it was definitely a walk to remember.

We both wore our 'ish' cowboy boots (Would you call them cowboy boots?) that make a darling *click, click, click* noise thats music to my ears. We saw children sliding down hills in the snow, we saw cute bundled up people and we saw cute pups! 

I'll be back with a cute lil video we made of us singing and forgetting all the words and a video of our click clacking shoes!

this dress...

This dress is the new love of my life.

Today while thrifting with Caren and Lucky careen came running squealing holding the most beautiful dress I ever did see.

It fits like a dream but needs a few small alterations/holes sewn and such.

This dress I will wear any day I can when it gets warmer out (aka not a crazy blizzard like today).

Oh did I mention it was only $5...?!! Simply mind blown and adore this beauty with all my heart.

It was on sale and 50% off of the sale price! A total of $6!!! 

I love the vintage style and collar!

Did you see these amazing boots?! Beautiful 'almost' fryes! I scored these at a thrift store for $5 and they are a go to now for this lady! Goodness I love them! 

Did I mention this beautiful vintage purse?! My best friend Jen got this for me as a birthday present while we went thrifting together! I sure was a 'Lucky' girl (pun intended).

simply breathtaking

Hello pretties! This is something I came across the other day and it left me breathless. Simple amazing how they think of music and how they express it. Leaves me with goosebumps and and a tear in my eye (yes call me cheesy but its true!) Have a peek at this for yourself...

the cakes of my birthday (s)

This birthday I was the luckiest girl in the world and had my darling boyfriend Freddy make a cake for me (my favourite! Carrot cake with swedish berries on top!)

It was the most yummy thing! 

And I got to experiment with my new extra wide angle diana lens my dear friend Lucky got for me.

I love the light sweet blur it puts on all the photos!

And I not only got one cake, but two! (well really four since I went out with Caren to a cupcake store and got red velvet cupcakes for my birthday day with her as well as a yummy cake pop on my birthday hangout with Lucky! Boy was I a 'lucky' girl!)

This is the cake I got the day after my birthday (the day of my birthday was filled with thrift stores galore!)

Isn't the colour of the cake pretty?! It matches my hair *giggle*
