lets go rollerskating together

I have never been able to skate. 

Every year I'd be out there in ice skates and my dad beside me on the ice to help me learn and every year after a few weeks I'd give up after coming home bruised and mad at those darn things.

After meeting Jen and seeing her love for learning how to be a derby girl I want to try learning to roller-skate.

She's adorable...

I love Peter Pan collars.

It's a well known fact. 

I picked up this dress at Urban Planet for a whopping $6 on sale and on sale again! 

It was too long and quite plain so I got my mother to hem it and I measured and cut everything up so she could put the collar on it. 

It fits like a dream come true! It's super soft and flowy and my new favourite dress for sure! 

Here are some snaps of it and notice no cardigan! IT'S WARM OUTSIDE! 

Remember how I said it's known that I love Peter Pan collars? Well I found this tutorial on how to paint your nails with little collars and buttons and I just had to! 

It turned out super cute and I adore it  ♥

It made me smile and giggle knowing I was decked out in peter pan goodness ;)

Cream puff party!

Hello darlings! 

Have you ever experienced the wonderfulness of a cream puff? Yummy puffy pastry filled with whipped cream inside... melt in your mouth goodness.

I felt the need to share this yummy perfection with two (four) of my favourite people.

My mother cooked some up and I made some yummy doily shortbread cookies! 

Caren And Jen and her little cutie pies Ellie and Clair came over for a little cream puff party!

I love lucky

Have you heard of the 365 Lucky Days Project? 

Jennifer (aka Lucky) is an amazing artist and friend of mine (She's like a mother to me) and she's been working on a project where she does one embroidery everyday. 

She has done movies, heroes, bombshells, star crossed lovers and everything else wonderful! 

I bet heres something you didn't know... I'm her model! 

We get together and have super fun photo shoots and she poses me and snaps tons of photos! 

I am so blessed and thankful to be working with such an amazing woman and have her as my mentor.

I love seeing the finished project on the blog and gasping and being able to say "hey! thats me!"

New clothes are always a joy

Goodness gracious me do I love this outfit! 

I just got this shirt and skirt yesterday at Urban Planet and both for amazing prices.

I think both were each around $12!

I love the pastel colours and the light textures.

I also have been curling my hair everyday because who would have thought that a lil curl gel and scrunching and this girl can have curly hair! My hair has always been pin straight but this is just too much fun! Love the messy waves! I curl a few pieces just to give it some depth and I'm done! Love it!
