what I'm wearing, a touch of indie glam

Hello!

I love a nice sunny day when I can get dolled up and feel pretty. In my mind its always a 'good for your soul' kinda thing to do :). When you feel pretty it changes your mood for the better.

Yesterday after shopping a little I did a mini photo shoot for fun.

A little purple eye liner, shadow and two coats of one by one mascara latter I'm all ready.

A nude nail colour matches everything! And looks very polished and clean.

P.S. I have gotten a few comments on the art on my walls behind me.  On the wall on the left they are mostly made by moi with the exception of My Girl Thursdays screen prints that I put in embroidery hoops. On the right hand side wall is a Lucky Jackson art piece and under that a painting I made of SPAM.
(and in the last photo to let you know I don't have a UFO in my room, its my totally rad record player.)

just a little hello

Hello! 

Yesterday I went to IKEA with my dad. We were planning on getting a bed, mattress, lights and all that jazz for my room. We ended up coming home with a ton of light bulbs, two light fixtures, and two new cameras (not bought at IKEA haha) 

I ended up looking at the beds for about an hour and deciding it was not the right time and that I needed more time to think. And you know what? That was a really good idea in my opinion.

I have now seen all the beds and can visualize where I would like to put it and most importantly what bed I should get.

Here are a few snaps from that day.

oh my goodness....

 I love my dad too much.

Yesterday, when I came home from a friends house, I went into my room to show my mom the IKEA unit my father and I made. On top I noticed a little brown case and picked it up....

I screeched and looked inside. In that moment I died. I fell in love within seconds.

This is what lay inside...

My dad found that pretty for me and thought it would be a fantastic gift for his daughter.

I truly love my dad way too much <3
