Ptbo folk fest?!

Why hello lovelies!

Have you ever heard of the Peterborough Folk Festival?

Its positively wonderful.

Local artist love, good music, good food, and wonderful friends.

 We (Caren and I) met up with Lucky (Jennifer from Lucky Jackson art) and hung out and bought art from her lovely shop all day, going back for more multiple times ;)

 Is she not adorable in every aspect?!

We also had the joy of seeing Erin from 26 Mermaids at the fest!

I got a wish bracelet and am just loving it! So pretty!

Caren brought a wish bracelet for Lucky and We all put them on and were matching hehe

A little hula hoop lovin to end the day?

this little girl

This little girl is darling.

She calls me 'Astrued' and the cute part is how long she takes to feel comfortable with how she pronounced it. 

her mama came over for a lil visit with Gretchen trailing behind.

We all (Caren, Desiree, Gretchen and myself) sat and had small lovely conversations and me and Caren snapped some cute polaroids and I, instax minis.

What I'm wearing, new boots

Writing this early in the morning, with the window wide listening to the sweet sound of crickets and with a little dog resting on my lap.

This is a new favourite outfit for the fall.

This fall I'm loving layers! Vintage belts on top of sweaters and a mix of victorian / combat boots!

Rain.

Its been raining all day and goodness me, I love it! 

I have been busy everyday almost all summer and this day of laying down, watching tv, catching up on all the blog posts I missed last week, eating spring rolls, and curling up with my puppy, is exactly what I need.

All completely wonderful happy things.

I'm home and feeling new

I'm home from Haliburton!

And I had a wonderful week.

I taught kids how to do art and it was so enjoyable.

I chopped off my non bangs and dyed my hair a perfect shade of auburn and I'm in love with it.

I feel refreshed... I feel like I needed that time to stay in a cabin and have a sweet silence hush while drawing pen and ink and painting.

I  really feel great.

Even though summers almost over, I feel like it has been one of the best so far.

A Girl Named Stephanie

This is my best friend Stephanie.

The other day we had a photo shoot and I do have to say she's so easy to take pictures of.

She is a wonderfully sweet girl and a wonderful friend to me.

She likes to spend her days playing her guitar, Reminiscing of her wonderful trip to Paris (where she got me the most amazing poster of Audrey Hepburn, eep!).
