its berry picking time!

Today my family and I went gleaning!

( gleaning is when crops are perfectly ripe but not good for shipping out anymore. They need to get rid of the crop before it go's bad. So call up your local berry farm and ask about it! You may be able to get a LOT of free berries! ).

As soon as we got there I (kinda) fell in love with the goat....

He never told me its name so I just call him 'no name'.

Yum, yum, yum!!!!

We now have about one FULL box of yummy raspberries!

my new little green shoes

I love them!

They were an amazing steal too! ( seven dollars!!! ).

I was walking back to the cottage in Haliburton and came across a school playground... they had a painted hop-scotch on the cement and I could not resist!

LOL... I had a mini photo shoot with my feet!

There was a soccer game going on across the street and I had a feeling they thought I was super crazy. They kept glancing at me, hopping around trying to take photo's of my feet!

Cooking class

Bonjour!

I'm back! I took a cooking class in Haliburton for a week.

It was very fun!

I learned how to make Croissants, Peppermint Meringues with Chocolate Ganache, Sushi, homemade pasta, Chicken Cordonbleu, Chicken dumpling's, and how to chop up a chicken Julie Child style ;)

I think we had a very good class... four people counting me! We blast daft punk music and MGMT and decided to put the fan by the door so when people would walk by they would drool!

(we had a pretty rad teacher, can you tell?)

( just a few photo's because I almost always had flour or butter on my hands!)

I wish I could give you all Peppermint Meringue's with Chocolate Ganache through the amazing way of internet! ( sadly no one has invented that yet )
